Tankless Water Heaters are designed to provide maximum performance and efficiency but require gas piping (3/4″ or larger gas line) as long as sufficient gas flow is available. An undersized gas line can stress a tankless system and possibly reduce its lifespan, all tankless water heaters are equipped with technology that safely ceases operation if they detect an inadequate gas flow. This innovative feature safeguards the unit from compromising performance and efficiency. Most jobs require gas meter upgrades which we handle as well.

To properly design a hot water solution for your home takes time and expertise. Checking gas meter size,  Measuring your gas piping (lengths/distances) to ensure proper gas to new unit, adding up all btu’s of all gas fired appliances in your home, testing your homes incoming water pressure and deciding location and well as venting of new unit properly sized for your home.

Inspect tankless if properly installed. Check gas pressure and adjust hi/lo gas limits as needed.  Inspect gas piping/fittings to ensure proper installation. Flush unit according to manufacturer requirements, clean inlet filter, inspect burner assembly, inspect fan, inspect ignitor, check exhaust, check gas manifold, check voltage, review and reset error code history.

The tankless water heater flush kit helps keep tankless heat exchangers free of scale build up. The flush kit connects easily to the tankless service valves. Once connected you can run a solution of water and food grade vinegar to clean the heat exchanger of any scale deposits. Regular use helps maintain a healthy tankless water heater.  It also includes the temperature/ pressure relief valve which protects heaters from exploding and ¾” piping terminates outdoors.  MUST HAVE SERVICE KIT TO PERFORM ANNUAL ERVICE ALSO REQ BY CODE SINCE INCLUDES TEMPERATURE/ PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE THAN PREVENTS HEATER FROM PRESSURE BUILD UP/ EXPLOSION.
